This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on www.yeapea.com. We use cookies only where they are strictly necessary to make the site work, and never for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Two first-party cookies are set by the application framework to keep the site working securely:
Name: yeapea-session — Purpose: maintains a basic session so the site functions correctly — Duration: about 2 hours — Type: first-party, strictly necessary.
Name: XSRF-TOKEN — Purpose: protects against cross-site request forgery — Duration: about 2 hours — Type: first-party, strictly necessary.
These cookies are not tied to any newsletter (there is none) and are not used to track you. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG).
Web Analytics (Matomo) — No Cookies
Our usage analytics (Matomo) runs entirely on our own server in Germany. There is no Matomo JavaScript or pixel in your browser, and no Matomo cookie is set. IP addresses are anonymized and no cross-session identification takes place. Anonymous interface-interaction events (such as which terminal command is used) are recorded the same way — by a first-party request to our own server; they set no tracking cookie and use no Matomo identifier.
Error Monitoring — No Cookies
Our error and application monitoring (Flare and Nightwatch) runs server-side only. Neither sets any cookies, and neither runs any code in your browser.
Security (Cloudflare)
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary security cookies during threat conditions (for example when verifying that a request is not automated):
__cf_bm: distinguishes humans from bots; about 30 minutes.
cf_clearance: records that a security challenge was passed; up to about 30 minutes.
These cookies exist solely for security, never for advertising.
What We Do Not Use
We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts, advertising or retargeting pixels, third-party login, device fingerprinting, or any sale of personal data.
Managing Cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them may cause parts of the site to stop working correctly. There is no newsletter or form involved.
